3 months post-op: Scars lighten and swelling reduces over time.
This patient went for many consults and no one knew how to help her. She had a tremendous diastasis rectus (separation of her abdominal muscles). She was very upset as everyone asked her all the time if she was pregnant. She got out of breath very easily and even had problems with going to the bathroom because of her "loss of domain". We performed an abdomioplasty with muscle repair. We also removed her breast implants and did a lift in preparation for a stage 2 where we add another implant and remove some of her areola that had to be left behind after this surgery.
